International Happenings
At home and Around the World
Welcome to our new web page on international happenings in Social work -- at home and around the world. The School of Social Work at Portland State University is committed to increased international exposure, education and opportunities as our world becomes smaller and more accessible. Social work education has an obligation to explore a global perspective and an imperative to prepare students and practitioners for many different and challenging international contexts. We offer this page as a place to find information about many different aspects of international happenings at home and around the world.
Professor Pam Miller is spending part of 2009 in Poland through a University Scholar Grant by the Portland Metro Rotary Club and District 5100 of Rotary International. Read her blog!
