M.S.W. Program - Portland

Registration dates/times for Fall Term 2009 are as follows.

Monday, July 13th 8:00am: Advanced - Online Registration for students having completed first year of generalist practice: SW 530, 531, 532, with a B- or above.

Tuesday, July 14th 8:00am: All students who have NOT completed first year of generalist practice as described above.

Please read the following notes for registration day: (applies to both days)

All students should perform a trial login a week before and also a couple days prior to ensure timely participation on registration day. Go to PSU Student Information System to check student ID and password as well as student hold status. Because classes fill quickly it is critical to login at the specified time. If you encounter problems logging into the system, contact the registrars office at 503-725-3412.

If you are not able to get into your required classes and have special scheduling needs put your request in writing to our designated registration e-mail account at mswregis@pdx.edu. The M.SW. Program Director will consider requests on a case-by-case basis and e-mail an answer within approximately 10 days of receipt.

Note regarding requests for space in closed classes: we do not guarantee granting of requests. Students are guaranteed space in required courses but we cannot guarantee the day or time of the section of which a student may be permissioned once classes are closed (full).
