Research and Scholarship

Research

The School of Social Work hosts a broad range of research activities, from large-scale grant-supported projects to smaller faculty-directed and student-directed studies. Most (but not all) grant-supported projects are managed within one of the affiliated research units:

In addition, faculty and students conduct their own studies or collaborate with other professionals and organizations within and beyond Portland State University.

Initiatives

Pam Miller, Professor of Social Work, is leading the School's internationalization efforts, most recently through a University Scholar Grant by the Portland Metro Rotary Club and District 5100 of Rotary International. more
